The Union Fire District of South Kingstown (UFD) is now accepting bids for landscaping at its nine (9) properties listed below. This contract will be valid from May 1st 2026 – October 31st 2026 for mowing and landscaping services at each site weekly.

Bids must be received at the UFD offices located at 131 Asa Pond Road, Wakefield, RI or online via bidnetdirect.com by 11:00 AM on Friday, April 17, 2026, at which time they will be opened publicly and read aloud. Paper bids must be sealed and marked “UFD Lawn Bid” on the envelope. All bidders must enclose proof of insurance document(s) with their submitted bids. The bid may be awarded on Monday, April 20, 2026, at 7:00 PM at the UFD Board of Wardens meeting.
